JamChat™ is a premium apparel brand celebrating Jamaican Patois. Each garment carries an authentic Patois expression on the front and its cultural meaning on the back. The concept is simple: wear the language, share the culture, and let the garment start the conversation.
Who is JamChat™ for?

JamChat™ was created for Jamaicans, the Jamaican diaspora, and everyone who has ever felt the pull of Jamaica in its music, its people, its spirit, and its words. You do not need to speak Patois to wear it. You need only to love what it carries.
How do you ensure the expressions are culturally accurate?

Every phrase in the JamChat™ collection is researched before it is selected, and every cultural framing is written with care before it is published. We treat each expression as a piece of someone's inheritance rather than a design element. Our translations prioritize the full cultural meaning of a phrase, not just its surface equivalent in English.
Why only five pieces in the launch collection?

Because five thoughtfully chosen phrases, presented with full cultural context and genuine care, are more valuable than fifty that lack such depth. JamChat™ avoids overwhelming its collection with volume just to appear busy. Instead, we grow our collection carefully, one phrase at a time — as the saying goes, one one coco full basket.

About The Products
What does the garment actually look like?

The Patois expression is printed on the front of the garment. On the back, its cultural meaning and context. The JamChat™ mark appears on the left sleeve, deliberately placed there to protect the reveal on the back. Our aesthetic is luxury-minimalist: clean lines, premium fabric, restrained color palette. The words carry the design.
What fabric do you use?

Our garments are printed on premium 100% cotton construction — soft, durable, and made to be worn for years, not seasons. Full fabric specifications are listed on each individual product page.
What sizes do you carry?

We carry a full-size range. Please refer to the size guide on each product page for specific measurements. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a relaxed fit.
How should I care for my JamChat™ garment?

Turn the garment inside out before washing. Cold water, gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Do not iron directly over the printed areas. Treated with care, the print and the fabric will both last.

Where do you ship?

Worldwide. JamChat™ ships to Jamaica, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and internationally. Shipping rates and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your location.
How long will my order take to arrive?

Domestic US orders typically arrive within 5 to 10 business days. International orders vary by destination and are estimated at checkout. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships.
Can I track my order?

What is your return policy?

Yes — and we genuinely encourage it. Visit the Submit a Saying page to share the expression you would wear. The phrases that garner the most community love and the deepest cultural resonance are incorporated into our curation process for future collections. If your submission becomes a garment, we will reach out to you before it launches.
